Arrested In Luton England | Wanted for: First Degree Murder

The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of an arrest made in Jesse Tubbs Homicide investigation. 

On Monday, August 19, 2024, Adrian Gordon Jr was located and arrested in Luton, England. He is being held by authorities in the United Kingdom, pending extradition to Canada, where he will face a charge of First Degree Murder.

The Toronto Police Service wishes to thank the RCMP, Interpol, the United Kingdom National Crime Agency and members of the public for their cooperation during this investigation.

Case #: 2024-1100422 Homicide #32/2024, Isabella Street and Jarvis Street area, Victim Jesse Tubbs, 30 yrs

On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at approximately 12:18 a.m., Toronto Police responded to a call for an unknown trouble call at Isabella Street and Jarvis Street area. 

It is alleged that:

  • the male victim was found lying on the ground at the rear of the building with obvious signs of trauma
  • paramedics transported the victim by emergency run to a local trauma centre in critical condition
  • on Sunday, May 26, 2024, the victim succumbed to his injuries

The victim has been identified as Jesse Tubbs, 30, of Mississauga. An image has been released.

The Toronto Police Centralized Shooting Response Team and Homicide Unit began an investigation.

As a result of this investigation, a Canada-wide warrant has been issued for Adrian Gordon Jr, 24, of Toronto, who is wanted for:

  1. First Degree Murder

He is considered armed, violent, and dangerous. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.
